New Podcast: Eat, Drink, and Be Buried!
I started a podcast!
This is an endeavor I have wanted to do for quite a while – despite not having an optimal radio voice!
The podcast is called Eat, Drink, and Be Buried and it is about New Orleans’ culture, customs, and curiosities!
I would like to thank a customer from my Metairie Cemetery tour for suggesting my podcast’s name!
My goal is to educate people (myself included) on the many intricacies of this amazing city through interviews with various cultural bearers and by telling some of New Orleans’ untold and largely unknown stories.
I hope you subscribe and enjoy! Any feedback or suggestions for stories you would like to hear is very welcomed! You can hear it on a variety of platforms: Podbean, Spotify, Apple, and more!
Big thanks to actor Donald Lewis (you might recognize his voice from WWOZ’s livewire) and to Katy Hobgood Ray of the Confetti Park Players for providing me with my theme song – Buttermilk Drop!
Also, big thanks to Scott Frilot for all his encouragement and advice – and to my dear friend Glenn May for his mastery of sound.
